② Clamping Stagnation of piston rod: unsmooth movements of the piston rod
Reason
1. Air in the block
2. The piston rod is not concentric with the block
Solution
1. Exhaust air
2. Exchange the cylinder block

③ Heavy steering or no steering
Reason
1. Air in the block
2. Leakage in the cylinder
3. Mismatch between the parameters of the vehicle motor and the cylinder
4. Piston rod bend caused by misuse
Solution
1. Exhaust air: First check if there is flaw in the inner wall of the block, and then repair the block and change the piston seal; if not, check if there are any flaws in the sealing ring and then change it
2. Redesign parameters of the cylinder
3. Exchange the piston rod

④ Oil leakage in the end cover
Reason
1. Flaws in the sealing ring when installed
2. Flaws in the sealing ring when knocked with the piston rod
Solution
1. Exchange the sealing ring
2. Repair the piston rod and exchange the sealing ring

1. Avoid damage to the thread of the piston rod and cylinder mouth as well as the surface of the piston rod. Striking the cylinder block or the surface of the piston rod should be avoided as well. Instead of sanding, grind with fine oilstone if any damage is found on the cylinder hole or piston rod.

2. Regularly replace the hydraulic oil and clean out the strainer to prolong service life.

3. 5 test run routines with full stretching out and drawing back shall be made every time prior to operating under load, which can exhaust the inner air out, warm it up, and to avoid gas explosion and further damage the sealing parts or cause leakage.

4. Good control of the system temperature: high oil temperature will reduce the service life of sealing devices. If heated for too long it will cause permanent deformation of the sealing devices and even complete failure.

5. Take care of the piston rod surface and its damage on the sealing devices; always clean the dust ring and piston rod in case of dirt buildup.
6. Regularly check the thread, bolt, and fastening for tightness.

7. Always lubricate the joint part in case of corrosion or abnormal wear.
